Hedonism

Have never before heard this word before. Was reading a book and came acorss this word.

Hedonist - sounded like a distand alien word which usually I would have just overlooked and moved on.. but then I stopped and turned back to understand what it meant .. just so that I may do justice for the book and the pains that the author had taken to enlighten the reader.. and I am glad I did. This is what it means:



hedonist : Someone motivated by desires for sensual pleasures



Now it does'nt sound that distant, does it. I should confess I was taken aback. Deep inside a voice tells me I know him.. shhhh.. silence ... my snub didnt work... the voice keeps telling me that I know him.. I know, I know him.... but how bad it sounds when someone else tells you this..

I deny.. the voice persists... still I deny.. the voice insists.. and guess what, it prevails.. yes I know him.. I do.
